The annual Legislative Reception will be held Thursday February 12th at the Topeka Ramada located at 420 SE. 6th street starting at 5:30.President Wing will be having an Executive Board meeting between 2:00 and 3:00 in a room to be announced.There will also be a work shop in the same room with a representative from the retirement board starting around 3:30.
Reservations have been made for all E-Board members and guests of the Council.Locals will need to make their own reservations by calling 800 432-2424 and mention that you are with the Fire Fighter Legislative Reception.The room block and rate will expire 1-22-09.
This is an opportunity for all Locals to meet with their respective Legislatures either at the Reception or before by stopping by their office to visit.The KSCFF Lobbyists will be hand delivering invitations to each Legislature but each Local should write, call or email their legislature and invite them to the Reception.
